Episode 284 is the first in a two part look at the Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks Romantic Comedy Trilogy: Joe Versus the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail. Similar to our Spider-Man Trilogy Two Parter, the first entry on the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan trilogy is our review and thoughts on the individual films and how they work together as a trilogy. We then play our game by recounting our favorite moments from the three movies. We don't hit many rom-coms on the show, but this week we made a very fun exception. How do these films hold up? Tuesday Sep 04, 2018
Welcome to a special edition of the GoodTrash GenreCast. On this week's show, we have a patreon-sponsored movie. Our patreon supporter, Keithan, got to set the programming for this week, and he stayed mostly true to his roots with this pick. He sets us up with the kinetic, high-energy Fallen Angels from director Wong Kar-Wai. Fallen Angels is a dreamlike piece that is more experience than story, so is it worth your time? Tune in and find out.
